Chess

checkers logo

This chess game allows you to pick which color plays as the human and computer. It also allows you to play human against human. And as a tutorial, you can even have the computer play against itself.

The game has 3 different skill levels, Beginner, Easy, and Medium. It also records the play action using standard algebraic chess notation as well as displaying the captured pieces.

When you click on a piece, the board will momentarily display the legal moves for the piece. But to move a piece, you must click and drag the piece to the new position. The game will not let you make an illegal move and has text messages indicating whose turn it is as well as giving helpful text messages to help you play better.
